India is rapidly strengthening its position as a global air cargo hub, driven by growth in manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, perishables, e-commerce, and high-value exports. Speaking at Air Cargo India 2026, Etihad Cargo reaffirmed its commitment to the Indian market, highlighting the country's strategic importance in its global network.

The carrier currently serves 12 passenger gateways across India, connecting businesses to global markets through its Abu Dhabi hub. Etihad Cargo also emphasised its specialised capabilities in transporting pharmaceuticals, perishables, valuables, and aerospace cargo, supported by investments in digitalisation, real-time shipment visibility, and resilient logistics solutions.

Despite ongoing geopolitical and supply chain challenges, the airline noted that flexible routing strategies and strong partner collaboration have enabled uninterrupted cargo operations. Looking ahead, Etihad Cargo expects continued investments in infrastructure, multimodal connectivity, and initiatives such as Make in India to accelerate the country's emergence as a leading global air cargo gateway.

We operate in 12 countries with 85+ locations, using expert logistics and digital platforms to provide fast, transparent, and cost-effective freight, warehousing, customs, and delivery services worldwide.
