Switzerland and India finalizing FTA deal

Switzerland and India have finally agreed on a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) after 16 years of negotiations. The Swiss Economy Minister, Guy Parmelin, travelled to India right after the World Economic Forum 2024 held in Davos, Switzerland, to meet with his Indian counterpart.

The Swiss minister stated that the outline of the deal had been agreed upon and that officials are currently working on finalizing the details.
